If you want a storytelling photographer who’s obsessed with revealing the best version of you and delivering an experience that makes you feel confident about who you are, Alimagery is the photographer for you. It can be nerve-racking getting in front of a camera, but our approach will have you at ease in no time. Creating beautiful images is what we do, so you can exhale, relax and smile for the camera. We’re extremely skilled and you won’t have to worry for a second about your photos being less than incredible. We take amazing photos whether it’s a sunny day or a rainy night.
But your photographer isn’t just about the shooting day, it’s about the weeks prior to the shoot and the weeks after. Prior to the shoot, we’ll gently send you resources, information and consultations that provide real value when you’re being photographed. Our services are customisable at no extra cost, so if you need anything different we’re able to deliver.
Q. I AM CAMERA SHY / NOT PHOTOGENIC
This is something that everyone says! We don’t know many people who are comfortable in front of a camera, ourselves included. we know what it’s like to be on the other side of the lens so we’ll take it slowly, take a lot of photos and gas you up if need be!
Q. Can you hold a date for me?
Unfortunately not. Our policy is that we operate on a first come/first served basis. Once the payment has been received for any bookings, you will receive a confirmation email and signed contract.

Q. I HAVE AN IDEA FOR A PHOTO, CAN WE TRY IT?
Yes! We love to try new things. When clients share their ideas, it helps us get an idea of what sort of content you’re after and everyone ends up delighted.
Q. WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
This may vary for the service, but our sessions occur in the great outdoors. We have a fantastic shortlist of dozens of locations and routes in London to suit the style of the photos you want capturing. If you want to shoot at a specific location, please let us know during bookings stage so that we can ensure that we have the rights to shoot there.
Q. What if your camera breaks?
Whilst this has never happened, we carry backups and spares just in case the worst happens.
DELIVERABLES QUESTIONS
Q. HOW ARE THE PHOTOS DELIVERED?
Photos are delivered via our cutting edge online gallery portal. We’re really proud of our delivery system, any early teasers will be released ahead of deadline AND you’ll be able to select and order your prints within our system! How great is that?
Q. ARE YOUR PHOTOS WATERMARKED?
No chance. We don’t believe in watermarking images - once the image has been delivered its quality and distinctive style is enough to tell that it is by Alimagery. No watermark blemishes here. The only exception is if you’re seeing an unprocessed image or proof.
Q. DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE?
For most of our packages you will get a pre-specified minimum number of photos. Not every photograph shot is of a high enough standard to pass our high rigorous tests so you can be assured that any photos you do receive are the best we’ve taken.
Q. Can I get unedited photos?
Raw photos aren’t available for purchase, it’s important that we stick to our quotas in order to provide the highest quality of service for a competitive price. If you do need more photos processed, we have extra edits available as an optional extra.
Q. CAN I PICK WHAT PHOTOS ARE EDITED?
In our standard package, the clients select the final images during their viewing session. We’ve tested this on hundreds of shoots and clients generally prefer this as it gives you total control over your service. If you want us to pick for you, let us know, and we’ll make expert decisions based on your feedback during the shoot.
Q. Do I get copyright?
Whilst we retain the copyright for the images and rights to use them for promotional (and other) purposes, you will receive a release that lets you print, share on personal social media, print on a t-shirt for yourself, tattoo onto your back… Anything short of commercial usage - for example, you wouldn’t be able to sell your photos to be published into a magazine without our explicit permission.
EQUIPMENT QUESTIONS
Q. What equipment do you use?
We use some of the highest end Sony mirrorless gear and backups for our shoots. We love shooting Sony!
Q. How often do you back up our photos?
The joy of shooting with professional equipment - the moment that the photo is taken is the moment it’s backed up. That’s right, we immediately save all of our images on two SD cards within the camera for the ultimate satisfaction of our paranoia. Our hard drives are backed up every four working hours, so your files are as safe as possible.
PAYMENT QUESTIONS?
Q. How does payment work?
Once you’re ready, you can use our online store to select the best date/time that fits you and lock-in your session. We support most debit and credit cards or, if you prefer, you can pay via PayPal.
Q. Do you shoot tfp?
Occasionally we do shoot TFP if there is a mutual demand for the photos. TFP is about maximising value for the entire team, so if you’re interested in working together at a future date please just reach out and we can keep you in our mind when the opportunity arises.
