Help! I'm not photogenic :(

Alimagery’s business mission is to make London feel beautiful, one person at a time. Key to getting great images that you love is making our subjects feel comfortable in front of a camera and help you find your photogenic side. This is how we do it.

Pre-Shoot Advice

Preparation makes success and with bookings being made normally weeks in advance of the photoshoot, you'll feel so much better knowing you're ready way before you even wake up on the morning of the photoshoot.

We'll send you quality resources via our clients portal and allow time to chat ahead of schedule so you're positive and at ease on the day!

Know your photographer

Alimagery prides itself on capturing real personalities. For many people, it can be difficult to be themselves around strangers. Rest assured, your photographer will certainly be no stranger.

We'll take the time to get to know you and chat to you before and during the shoot so that our imagery truly captures the wonderful parts of your character.

No rush

Whilst our packages do normally specify a time allocation, we're confident that we can produce the content required in that time without any need to break a sweat. We know that the first portion of any shoot is all about relaxing and losing the 'camera tension' so there's no pressure on you to be perfect immediately.

Prompting

We prefer to direct with gentle prompts rather than asking you to form and hold a pose, that way our photographers can capture the right moment whilst you're free to relax, move naturally and avoid any tension.

Live Viewing

During the shoot, our photographer will give you several opportunities to view the imagery as we create it. This feedback can elevate a shoot to the next level and we can focus on anything you particularly like or don't like to get the best possible images.

Natural Moments

In a shoot, you're not always expecting the camera to click at any moment. We're masters of preempting when the best moments happen so even when your guard is down, we might just be getting the best shot of the shoot.

We deliver a huge web gallery of previews so you can take your time and pick your favourite photos yourself. Our clients love this as you can be absolutely sure that you're looking at your incredible best on your finals.
